Description

This compact, hardy evergreen shrub comes into its own displaying a neat rounded habit perfect for pots. Graced with lustrous dark-green leaves which provide the perfect backdrop to its delicate dangling flowers, come November, masses of tight buds housing gorgeously-scented flowers begin to open.

  • Additional Information - Highly scented white flowers in winter, followed by black fruits. Evergreen foliage. During late winter, it is recommended that you lightly trim or prune back any shoots to tidy your shrub, maintaining a healthy shape and structure. Once you have pruned Sarcococca, you may wish to apply a generous layer of mulch consisting of well rotted compost - this should be applied around the base of the plant, taking care not to touch the stem. Propagate by semi ripe cuttings in summer or by seed in autumn. Hardy perennial. Perfect for a pot of under the window.
