Cultural Notes

  • Soil - Well drained humus rich
  • Position - Sun or part shade
  • Cutting - Not suitable for cutting
  • Flowering - December to March except Eternal and Pink Fragrance flowers April - October
  • Additional Information - Resents being transplanted. Daphnes are also intolerant to pruning. Pruning of any kind should only be required when there is diseased or wayward growth. This should be undertaken during early spring or immediately after flowering. All parts are toxic if ingested and sap may irritate skin. Hardy perennial plant in a sheltered area or provide extra protection.
