Cultural Notes

  • Soil - Well drained
  • Position - Sun or part shade
  • Cutting - Good for cutting
  • Flowering - Spring flowering
  • Additional Information - Dead head flowers and remove faded foliage during mid summer. If they aren't flowering very well, provide a top-dress of slow release fertiliser around the base of your plant each spring. Don't tie up the foliage, instead let them die back naturally before cutting them. Will increase naturally by offsets, though dense clumps should be divided every 3 years, no sooner than 6 weeks after flowering. Hardy bulbous perennial.
